Teaching Students to Select the Proper Statistics for Various Research Designs Using a "Decision Tree" Approach

A quasi-experiment in two Research Methods & Statistics classes (71 students) tested whether a "decision tree" teaching approach would help students know when to apply various statistical tests for different types of research designs.  The decision tree group improved more than the control group, F(1,67) = 8.11, p = .006.
