Psyched to Work! Building Career Readiness through Extracurricular Job Exploration

Psychology majors often struggle to connect their education to specific career paths. Psyched to Work! is a year-long extracurricular job shadow and professional development program that significantly improved students perceived career readiness, exploration, communication, and job-search skills. This work demonstrated that structured, scalable experiences can strengthen psychology undergraduates’ workforce preparation.
