Abstract
This proposal is based on teaching Scale development (eight steps) to higher education students, while maximizing evidence of validity: content, response process, internal structure, relation to other variables and consequence (Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing; AERA et al., 2014). Examples of bad and good practices are presented.
