Sexual Minority Young Adult Chinese Women’s Choice of Path to Parenthood

We explored non-heterosexual Chinese women's future parenthood. We recruited 876 childless Chinese women (461 heterosexual, Mage = 23.98; 415 non-heterosexual, Mage = 24.01). Non-heterosexual women were more likely than heterosexual counterparts to envision parenthood through adoption, surrogacy, and donor insemination (odds ratios were 11.32, 2.79, and 46.29 respectively).
