Predictive Mechanisms of Elevated Psychosis Spectrum Symptoms in Sexual and Gender Minorities

Sexual and gender minorities (SGM) experience elevated rates of exposure to environmental stressors which may contribute to the development of psychosis spectrum symptoms. This study seeks to examine the influence of social cognition on the relationship between environmental stressors and psychosis spectrum symptoms and psychosocial dysfunction in SGM.
