Exploring the Mediating Influence of Psychological Flexibility and Self-Compassion on the Relationship between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Post-Traumatic Growth Among Young Adults in India

The study examines the mediating roles of self-compassion and psychological flexibility in the relationship between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Post-Traumatic Growth in 298 Indian young adults. Self-compassion (β = .0341) modestly enhances PTG, while psychological flexibility (β = -.0799) shows a non-significant effect, underscoring their roles in trauma-focused interventions.
