Abstract
We examined neural responses to stress and alcohol cues in social drinkers with early trauma. Sixty-four participants were recruited, consisting of individuals with ET (N=29) and without ET (NT; N=35). ET individuals exhibited neural responses characterized by decreased prefrontal regulation and increased limbic-striatal activation during stress and alcohol cue presentation.
