Control in Context: Age Differences in Emotional Expression

This study explores age and emotional reactivity to control levels. While no age differences in themes emerged, sadness was linked to low control, and anger to high control across age groups. Quantitatively, control correlated with joy for older adults but not younger, suggesting control's role in positive affect with age.
