This study examines how System 1 and System 2 thinking affect happiness through both emotional and cognitive aspects of happiness, using direct and indirect measures. In a 3x1 design, 121 participants were randomly assigned to three conditions: System 1 (8-second response), System 2 (12-second delay), and a control group.
