Digital Media and the Manosphere: Status, Threat and Violent Extremism

We explore the link between INCEL traits and masculinity threat (MT), with correlates of mindset, sociopolitical attitudes, and sexual entitlement across five countries. Preliminary results from India and South Korea reveal positive correlations between MT and INCEL traits. Cross-cultural differences emerge in MT’s relationship with fixed mindset and right-wing views.
