Abstract

We will examine tolerance toward moral transgressions within political ingroups. Building up on the notion of “acrophily” (i.e., the preference for individuals who hold more extreme political views), we hypothesize that participants (N=300) will show greater tolerance to moral transgressions performed by extreme, relative to moderate, political ingroups.
