Exploring Misokinesia: A Comparative Examination of Prevalence and Demographic Variations

We explored misokinesia, a phenomenon characterized by aversive reactions to repetitive movements, using a self-selected sample from misokinesia.ca. Findings revealed that 96.44% of participants reported misokinesic sensitivity, with prevalence peaking in mid-adulthood. This study offers valuable insights into the phenomenon’s global prevalence and serves as a foundation for future research.
