Abstract
We used elastic net to identify determinants of wellbeing in three populations. For US students (N=202), self-oriented processes were most predictive to wellbeing; for Kenyan community residents (N=197), relation-oriented processes were most predictive; for Kenyan students (N=203), wellbeing was predicted by the combinaton of two processes.
