Associations between Food Security and Medical System Trust in Relation to Health Self-Efficacy, Social Needs Sharing and Health Status Among Those Living with Diabetes (Hyperglycemia) or a Chronic Lung Disease

This study examined associations from Health Information National Trends Survey data on food insecurity, medical trust, health status, self-efficacy, and social needs sharing among patients with T2D or chronic lung disease. Food insecurity was associated with poorer outcomes, and interactions were observed between food security, medical trust, and condition type.
