Understanding Diversity in Face Perception: Ethnic and Cultural Variance Influence Judgements of Trustworthiness and Dominance

Face perception is a critical, universal skill. However, current models do not account for ethnic or cultural variance. Using data-driven methods, we aim to explore how such variance causally influences social face perception. We anticipate that our results will directly impact current theoretical accounts, contributing to diversifying psychological science.
