Abstract

We examined articles published in the Journal of Happiness Studies from 2018-2023. We conducted a Chi-square test of independence to compare articles with WEIRD vs. non-WEIRD samples, X² (5, N = 692) = 8.819, p > .05. The association between variables was not significant, limiting our ability to draw claims.
