Virtual Collaboration: An Informal Learning Environment to Promote Interest in STEM for Ghanaian Adolescents.

We examined the impact of engaging in a virtual collaboration on students' interest in STEM. 14 students (Mean age=16.90) from senior high schools in Ghana were interviewed. In line with the social constructivist theory, we found that students were empowered through the collaboration and acknowledged the benefits of mentorship.
