Interpersonal Curiosity Predicts Empathy Among Middle School Students

This study explores the relationship between interpersonal curiosity and empathy among 244 middle school students. Regression analyses revealed a significant effect, such that students who were more interpersonally curious were also more empathetic on average, controlling for student race/ethnicity and gender identity (β = 3.14, p < 0.001).
