Abstract

Although heightened worry is expected to diminish interpersonal problem-solving performance, research findings are contradictory. Methodological limitations in studies employing the Means-End Problem Solving task and Worry-Mood inductions, may explain these inconsistencies. This study is designed to enhance the potency of an anxiety induction and thus reveal problem-solving decrements.
