Abstract

This study aims to understand whether a person’s levels of connectedness to nature and experiences in nature are associated with their negative emotions related to climate change. In a questionnaire study of 371 undergraduate students, nature connectedness but not experiences in nature predicted climate worry, eco-anxiety, and ecological grief.
