Abstract

In this micro-study, undergraduate STEM students received mentoring to improve academic success. Students reported higher than average scores on academic integration, degree commitment, institutional commitment, and academic conscientiousness, and no significant differences for social integration or support services subscales. These findings demonstrate the complexities of understanding persistence among college students.
