Interparental Hostility Observed during Childhood Is Associated with Romantic Relationship Investment during Emerging Adulthood : A Dyadic Study

Abstract
This study examines the intergenerational transmission of marital difficulties, focusing on the mediating role of insecure attachment between observed interparental hostility and relationship investment among emerging adults couples. Analyzing data from 137 couples, results revealed gender-specific patterns linking childhood experiences to attachment and relationship investment.
