Abstract
This study examines a caregiving program with community-based careworkers who work with vulnerable, HIV-affected children in South Africa. We evaluated change in caregiver reflective function and examined its association in caregiving behavior using an observational coding scheme. Results pointed to important cultural considerations of reflective function and caregiving behavior.
