Social Support from Friends Has the Greatest Positive Impact on Emotion Dysregulation in College Students with Childhood Trauma

Abstract
Examining how various sources of social support affected emotion dysregulation in 338 college students with self-reported childhood trauma, this study found that social support from friends had the greatest positive impact, followed by social support from family. Social support from significant others had no significant effect on emotion dysregulation.
