Abstract

Among 374 college students (43.6% males, Mage =19.22), this prospective online study found that excessive reassurance seeking (ERS) didn’t moderate the association between loneliness and disordered eating. However, loneliness and ERS were both independently and prospectively associated with disordered eating among undergraduate students over the course of 4-8 weeks.
