Abstract
We identified factors predicting environmental volunteering using a dataset of 16,149 individuals (44.8% male) from Statistics Canada's General Social Survey 33. Key predictors include peers' involvement, employer support, and positive youth volunteering experiences. Promoting environmental volunteering may involve providing young Canadians with positive role models and early volunteer opportunities.
