Abstract
We examined whether benevolent childhood experiences moderate the association between ACEs and mental health difficulties. There were 1,708 participants (60.2% woman, Mage = 24.51) who completed an online survey about adverse and benevolent child experiences, depression and anxiety. Results supports the importance of prevention programs that promote benevolent childhood experiences.
