Abstract
Trait resilience confers benefits. Participants viewed clips, were randomly assigned to emotion regulation (ER) Strategy or Control groups, and self-reported resilience and reactions. To the anger clip, there was a significantly stronger association between resilience and reduced anger in Strategy vs. Control. ER strategies can evoke the power of resilience.
