Abstract
We explored whether Accent Strength and Place of Origin influenced how European Americans (N = 352, 55.4% females, Mage = 28.78) viewed immigrants. Stronger accents were associated with lower friendliness, competence, and willingness to engage. Participants engaged more if they thought the immigrants were from Europe rather than Asia.
