Personal, Parental and Marital Aspects of the 'parental Child' Phenomenon

The current study explored the potential links between parent-child role reversal and retrospective and current parental, marital and personal variables. Results from questionnaires with 122 adults (M_age = 34) point to a moderating model in which securer attachment weakens the adverse link between the 'parental child' phenomenon and adult self-differentiation.
