“I Do Not Want to Play with Them”: Preschoolers’ Motivated Ostracism Considering Contextual Group Goals

The proposed study aims to investigate preschoolers' exclusionary choices in group contexts between two critical dimensions of social perception, i.e., warmth and competence. We will use animated cartoon clips and predict that their choices will vary with group goals and a high proportion of goal concerns for their choices.
