Abstract

This study explores user perceptions of AI mental health chatbots, focusing on effectiveness, challenges, and ethical issues. Through interpretive phenomenological analysis of interviews with 10-15 adults, it aims to examine chatbot benefits, perceptions of privacy, therapeutic alliance, and user preferences, contributing to the growing literature on AI in mental health.
