Abstract
A 2x2 ANCOVA found that, taking into account Attitude Toward Psychotherapy, observers (n=76) rated a therapist more highly on the Counselor Rating Form (CRF-S; Corrigan & Schmidt, 1983) when confrontation was employed in a session excerpt. The presence of a dog had no effect on the ratings of the therapist.
