Prejudice towards individuals with schizophrenia is particularly pronounced in Japan. This study examines whether perspective-taking can reduce prejudice towards individuals with schizophrenia in a Japanese context. We will also examine whether gender moderates the effect as well as the role of empathy as a mediator.
