Are Psychological Changes in Students Associated with Studying Abroad: An Exploratory Longitudinal Study

Studying abroad is often promoted as fostering personal growth. However, what specific psychological changes are associated with studying abroad? This longitudinal research will measure various psychological factors (e.g., personality, self construal, grit) of Japanese undergraduate students at three time points (before, during, and after a one-year study abroad experience).
