Navigating the Near: VR Investigations of Peripersonal Space in Autism

Our study examines sensory sensitivity's impact on peripersonal space (PPS) in autism through a VR bubble-pop task and EEG analysis. Comparing 20 autistic and 20 non-autistic individuals, we aim to understand how sensory hypersensitivity affects PPS boundaries and neural responses, offering insights into sensory-motor integration in autism.
