The Theory of Behavioral Choice Applied to Environmental Activism

Individuals actively support environmental causes...or not. The recently-developed Theory of Behavioral Choice (TBC) was employed to predict reported activism. Intentions were assessed first, predicted by six TBC variables, and reported activism behavior was assessed one month later. The dragons of inaction significantly moderated the intention-behavior gap, thus supporting the TBC.
