Cross Cultural Validation of the School Cultural Congruity Scale

Abstract
Family involvement in school is linked to student-outcomes; however, cultural factors are largely underexplored. The School Cultural Congruity Scale (SCCS) was recently developed to assess cultural aspects of parental engagement. Multi-national data (3,255 participants) reveals a reliability of .96 and international validation, focusing on cultural congruity between home and school.
