Abstract
Hispanics persons are disproportionately affected by cigarette disparities, which was accentuated during COVID-19. We evaluated if COVID-19 worry was associated with increased risk of smoking abstinence expectancies among smoking Hispanic adults (N=336). COVID-19 worry was positively associated with abstinence expectancies except positive abstinence. COVID-19 worry is pertinent in cigarette smoking.
