Exploring Resilience: Moderating the Impact of ADHD Symptom Severity on Quality of Life

Abstract

We examined resilience's role in moderating ADHD symptom severity and Quality of Life (QoL) in 4,396 emerging adults (73% female; 72% White). Inattentive symptoms had strong negative associations with QoL (rs = -.18 to -.29); however, higher resilience through greater family coherence buffered this effect, highlighting resilience's protective abilities.
