Themes of Autistic Adults’ Conversation and Identity Expression on X (Formerly Twitter)

We explored autistic identity expression and experience through qualitative analysis of conversations. Over 2,000 tweets were analyzed through consensus coding with autistic voices present for the collection and analysis process. Results indicate a need to amplify autistic voices in research and further assess identity domains as protective factors for psychopathology.
