Mandarin-Speaking Children Can Correctly Produce Change-of-State Verbs: Limited Influence of Salience of Event State Structure

Our experiment found that Mandarin-speaking children (N=100, 52 female, M_age=5.11)  can correctly produce resultative verb compounds and action verbs that denote agentive events as well as adults, however whether the state structure is salient only influences production toward events without state changes.
