Student-As-Consumer Attitudes Linked to Worse College Student Mental Health

This study examined the link between 465 first-year U.K. students’ mental health and their attitude as customers rather than learners in university. Results indicated a significant correlation between this attitude and lower mental health, suggesting the importance of better understanding the impact of this increasingly common "student as consumer" attitude.
