Abstract

We surveyed 410 participants (321 Females, M_age = 27.5) to investigate the relationship between Idiopathic Environmental Intolerance associated with chemicals (IEI-C) and schizotypy. Schizotypal personality traits (magical thinking) and hallucination proneness, appear positively related to IEI. This is relevant for the specification of theoretical models and innovative treatments for IEI.
