Development of Curricula to Build Classroom Resilience in the Aftermath of Police Violence

Abstract
Emotional responses of students in minority communities to police violence can encompass grief, anger, fear, and avoidance. We describe development of a curriculum module to address student emotions following these tragedies that can reduce subsequent academic difficulties and disruptions. This project was supported by the APS Grant for Antiracist Curricula.
