Students Perceptions and Outcomes Using Oers in Introductory Psychology: A Mixed Methods Approach

Abstract

We implemented low-cost course materials to 320 students in introductory psychology courses. Students performed similarly to those from previous semesters who used materials with a higher price tag. Students had positive perceptions of the low-cost materials as reported from qualitative interviews. Implications and future directions of OERs will be discussed.
