From World to Meaning: The Role of Temporal Structure and Synchrony for Infant Learning
Infants develop in real-time, as their experience with the world unfolds moment-to-moment. Four studies investigate temporal parameters of social interactions, and demonstrate the role of timing of events and synchrony for key developmental outcomes including language learning, communication, and endogenous control of visual attention.
