Abstract

What strategies effectively mitigate neurodivergence-related stigma in college classrooms? Our pre-registered work suggests that the presence of a diagnostic self-label helps reduce judgmental reactions to a 'stimming' student, but positively worded syllabus language about disruptive behavior has no similar effect. (The latter instead impacted evaluations of the professor.)
