Using Comics and Clay to Foster Creativity and Critical Thinking

Creative use of media can foster student engagement and active learning. This poster describes using online, multi-panel comics and in-class, hands-on activities to encourage creative exploration of course concepts, allow individuals to formatively assess their understanding of course material, and to foster interpersonal collaboration.
