Implications of Science-Based Wellness Courses for the Non-Traditional Learner: Results from a Pilot Study

Abstract

This research examined if science-based, wellness courses can promote 1) mental health and well-being, 2) knowledge mobilization, 3) engagement with course material outside of class hours, and 4) course satisfaction. The results provide an initial exploratory foundation of how learning is important for wellness.
